I love a great product as much as the next marketer and I love it when a product sells. However, the product is the LAST step in the whole process of making money, and doesn’t even get invented until a whole lot of other steps have occurred. There is an old saying; “build it and they will come” this could have been true back in the day. In marketing it is not true, if you act as if this is true you will probably go broke. Here’s how to do it, and have lots of great times developing products that sell. Research your target audience; understand how they see themselves. Leverage their beliefs about who they are in your messaging. Leading the Market Has Nothing To Do With Products, it is about understanding your Avatar. I am going to give you a sample of some questions you should know the answer to. These questions will allow you to understand your Avatar, with each question write at least 15 points for each answer, just keep writing and get down everything. There are NO right or wrong answers here.
