If you want to be a successful entrepreneur, you have to believe that you are already one. images_2 There is always so much to do when you are running your own business. Marketing plan, Sales plan, Financial plan, Networking, meeting with clients, meeting with coaches, study…. and you haven’t even started to earn an income. The major key to running your business effectively is knowing what has to be done and when it has to be done by. If it is not this, then you will have to-do-lists, be disorganized, random tasks, things will be forgotten and a slower growth of the business and a slower rate for the finances to come in. Keep these areas in mind as we focus on how to become effective at managing our time and prioritising the essentials tasks to be completed. Every person on the planet has access to the same amount of time. So why is it that some people “have” and other’s have never “have enough”? The very worst use of your time is to do what need not be done at all. The Pareto Principle says that 20% of your activities will account for 80% of the value of your activities.

This means that, if you have a list of ten items to accomplish, two of those items will be worth more than the other eight items altogether. To achieve great things, you must always be concentrating on the small number of activities that contribute the greatest value to your life and your work. Time and the amount we have are based on our perception.

If you play at the level where you know you do what is important to you, and makes you feel good, and don’t do anything else, you will be able to assess what you value currently in your life and your business This is your time to really determine what you want from your business, what is it that you are passionate about and what do you want to pass on to your customers/clients? Determine what your unique entrepreneurial style and mindset is and begin to apply it to growth of the business and its profits.
